Nestor H. Praderio, MD
Nestor H. Praderio, MD was born and raised in Argentina. A graduate of the University of La Plata School of Medicine, he completed his residency in Psychiatry at Yale University, affiliate program at Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut, and served as Assistant Clinical Professor with Yale University Department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Praderio currently holds the position of
- Medical Director at the Christus Spohn Behavioral Medicine Department
- Christus Spohn Medical Director of the Geropsychiatric Unit
- Medical Director for the Geropsychiatric Unit at Care Regional Medical Center
With a focused special interest in Geriatric Psychiatry, Nestor H. Praderio, MD is also
- Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and Geriatric Psychiatry
- Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association
- Chairman of the Psychiatric Department of Christus Spohn Hospital System
- Consultant to various nursing centers and assisted living facilities in South Texas
- Assistant Clinical Professor at Texas A&M Health Science Center.
